About the documentation

The manuals are available in two formats: PDF and HTML. The SWI-Prolog reference manual is also accessible from the system using the help/1 and apropos commands. The XPCE reference material is available from the system using the manpce/0 command or online in dynamically generated HTML format.

Some packages have their own documentation. See the packages home.

Sources of the manuals are written in LaTeX and distributed in the source packages.
