SWI-Prolog for 64-bit editions of MS-Windows

Status of the port

All code and packages compile cleanly. Only very limited testing has been performed.

We have build SWI-Prolog 5.6.28 for Win64/AMD64 on Windows XP 64-bit edition using the platform SDK compilers. Here we briefly describe the process:

Get the platform SDK from Microsoft and install it.
Get SUN Java SDK from SUN for Windows AMD64 and install it.
Install the NullSoft installer from Sourceforge We used version 2.23.
Get the required external libraries. These are available from here The README file there contains information on their origin if you wish to repeat the process. Here you also find the OpenSSL runtime libraries for 64-bit Windows that are not part of the SWI-Prolog distribution.
Get the SWI-Prolog source from CVS.
Edit the following files in src to reflect proper locations
- make64.bat
- rules64.mk
- rules.mk
Open a cmd.exe in the src directory and type the following commands.

> make64
> make64 install
> make64 installer
```
